Nagpur is famous for Nagpur Oranges and it is known as the Orange City of India for being a major trade centre of oranges cultivated in large part of the region. It is also called the Tiger Capital of India or the Tiger Gateway of India as many tiger reserves are located in and around the city and also hosts the regional office of National Tiger Conservation Authority of India.
Patanjali Food & Herbal Park Nagpur Pvt Ltd. is based in MIHAN area and is sprawled across – 234 Acres land of Mega Food Park. The plant is located in strategic location of Nagpur Mandarin production area to ease the transportation and access for even small & marginal farmers.
- Orange processing facility has state of the art machinery imported from JBT food tech Italy & USA, Bucher Unipektin Switzerland and ALFA LAVAL Tumba - Sweden.
- Patanjali has put unique machinery for evaporation i.e. TASTE ( Thermally accelerated short time evaporation ) machine which converts juice into concentration in few minutes and hence product is less abusive to Heat and which intern protect the Natural taste in Juice.
- Plant has installed unique machinery like DE-acidification plant to reduce acidity/sour taste of juice sourced from Bucher Unipektin – Switzerland. This is first of its kind plant in India.
- Plant is also equipped with DE-bittering Plant to reduce Limonene/bitterness from the Juice.
- Plant has facility to store 2000 MT Finished goods in Deep-freezer Capacity (-18 to -20 Degree Centigrade).
- Plant has also put up online facility (2500 kg/hr. x 3 lines) to Dry and produce shreds/powder from Citrus Fruits peel/pomace which is widely used in cosmetic & pharmaceutical industry. This is first of its kind plant in India.
We are processing various citrus fruits like orange/Sweet Lime (Mosambi)/Kinnow/Lemon/Lime in this state of the art facility having - foot print to process fruit up to 800 MT/ Day. The plant is manufacturing Juice, Frozen Juice Concentrate, Aseptic Premium Pulp, Cold Press Oil (CPO), Oil & Water phase Aroma, Dried Citrus Peels shreds/powder based on the specific customer’s requirement as per their specifications.
We are complied with FSMS 22000 Version 6 system and are in process of getting Kosher and Halal certificate shortly.

- Aseptic Orange Premium Pulp - 2500 MT/Year
- Cold Press Oil (CPO) - 80 MT/Year
- Oil Phase Aroma / Essence (OPA) - 8 MT/Year
- Water Phase Aroma / Essence (MPA) - 20 MT/Year
- Citrus Dried Peels (Shreds and Powder) - 100 MT/Year

Citrus Plant

The plant has also installed De-Bittering Plant to reduce the limonin content from the juice upto 5 ppm. These equipment’s have been sourced / imported from M/s Bucher Unipektin - Switzerland
- Plant has facility to store 2000 MT Finished goods Deep-freezer Capacity -8 to -20 Degree Centigrade.
- Plant has online facility (2500 kg/hs x 3 lines) to Dry and produce powder from Citrus Fruits peel/pomace which is used in cosmetic Industry. This is first of its kind plant in india.
